Martin is a consultant, business adviser, facilitator and mentor with broad leadership and management experience in both the private and public sectors. He specialises in service and business improvement using contemporary models and research techniques. He facilitates and undertakes organisational reviews and assessments to produce prioritised action plans to improve service levels and profitability. This activity is supported with associated training and consultancy according to the client's needs. He is a practiced with applying the principles of the the EFQM Business Excellence Model and Hospitality Assured to assist organisations in developing a culture of continuous improvement.

A graduate of the University of Southampton, Martin spent a number of years in hotel management working in London and the West Indies.  He then retrained as a teacher and held senior positions in both the Further and Higher Education sectors.  Over the past 17 years he has been involved with consultancy and business support assignments working with a variety of partners. He has proven team & partnership building skills, together with a sound project & interim management record.  He has operated as the Managing Director of a property company with interests in the UK and overseas.  He is a past Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and Hospitality Assured Assessor and is currently a Member of the Institute of Customer Service as well as the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.
